115 East 55 Street, New York, NY, is the site of a 74,000 sf. residential development consisting of an 18- story building with – 60 luxury residential rental apartments. Amenities are located on the first and cellar floors. Zeckendorf Development and CMA worked diligently to evaluate many different façade options and MEP systems in order to deliver a high-quality project that was cost effective. The façade mirrors the adjacent Pre-war limestone clad towers. Windows and setbacks are accented with ornamental railings offering a very classic New York City vibe. Amenities include a gym with skylights, meeting and recreation rooms, laundry, storage, a green roof, and a landscaped backyard. Ownership, ZD, the design team, and CMA have all worked together to fashion units that have today’s modern layouts and amenities but are finished with a classic style. CMA was contracted to perform pre-construction design consultation, as well as manage the full construction and turnover of the project. The anticipated completion is Spring-Summer 2022.
